Without access to timely pricing updates, farmers often have no choice but to accept whatever is offered, even when their produce is worth far more. Advocates say better access to price information through radio, mobile updates, and community market boards could help protect farmers, strengthen livelihoods, and improve fairness in Liberia’s agricultural markets.
