
Jennifer Ambolley is a Ghanaian journalist with The Chronicle newspaper, where she
produces investigative and feature stories on public health, environmental justice, and
technology. She is also an experienced communications professional with expertise in media
strategy, communication management, and fact-checking.
Jennifer holds a B.A. in Communication Studies from the University of Media, Arts and
Communication (UniMAC). Her journalism has earned significant recognition, including
First Prize in the Print Category of the Merck Foundation Media Recognition Awards
for Diabetes & Hypertension (West Africa, 2023) and More Than a Mother (West Africa,
2024). She was also nominated for African Print Journalist of the Year at the Ladies in Media
Awards.
A recipient of multiple prestigious fellowships, Jennifer has participated in the Her Press
Fellowship, the Digital Public Infrastructure Journalism Fellowship, the Oxford Climate
Journalism Network Fellowship, the CPHIA Journalism Fellowship, and the Clean Air
Reporting Fellowship, among others. She also holds the Global Press Reporting Certificate in
Narrative Change Technique, which has further strengthened her capacity for impactful,
solutions-focused storytelling.
