Mohammed is the Northern, North East and Savannah Regional correspondent for the Graphic Communications Group Limited.
He is very passionate about issues related to environment, climate change and rural development. He has produced a number of in-depth news reports on the environment, shining light on how the ecosystem of Ghana is being destroyed by human activities such as illegal mining, and how climate change is impacting the lives of the people.
With nine years of journalistic experience, he has carved a niche for himself in that field and some of his works have over the years sparked national conversations and shaped policies.
Each month, he publishes about five compelling and interesting feature articles on climate change, environmental and rural issues.
Mr. Fugu has won about 10 competitive national awards including the prestigious Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) national awards as the best Environmental Reporter for 2020.
He is currently the GJA’s best journalist for the Northern, North East and Savannah Regions.
