Winifred Lartey

A graduate of UNIMAC-GIJ, Winifred began her career with Radio-GIJ and worked briefly at a Takoradi-based Cheers FM in reporting and editing roles. She then moved to Accra to join Asaase Radio as a reporter and online news writer where she currently is. She has publications on atmospheric air pollution concerns, waste management issues, bad roads in underdeveloped communities in the country, among several other stories. Winifred has over 2,000 stories published online and her story on pollution in Ghana was published by the French news agency, AFP. She’s currently on a mission to disseminate verified, impartial, and accurate information of public importance with regards to climate change and the climate crisis.
