Clarence Jackson is Editor-In-Chief at Radio Gbarnga and Regional Coordinator of the Press Union of Liberia for Bong, Nimba and Lofa Counties. He has been a journalist for more than fifteen years. Clarence is a prolific journalist whose reporting focuses Politics and Governance. He has also worked as correspondent from Central Liberia for several institutions including the Independent Star Radio. One of his reports in 2009 led to the dismissal of two senior officers of the Executive Protection Service who were involved in drug trafficking.
Clarence began his career as a trainee at Radio Meridian in 1998 and has gone on to become a renowned journalist outside Monrovia.
Clarence has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Degree in Sociology from the Cuttington University and several local and international certificates.
Clarence is an Alumnus of the Edward R. Murrow Program for Journalists and an Alumnus of the International Campaign Fellows Program making him a Double US fellow.
