On Saturday, April 18, 2026, some of our female journalists came together for a restorative beach outing dedicated to nurturing mental health and well-being. This activity formed part of our quarterly Women’s Support Session, organized by Tetee Gebro and facilitated by an expert mental health professional.
The outing provided a meaningful opportunity for our journalists to step away from their work, reconnect with one another, and find renewal in the calming environment of the ocean.
At New Narratives, we recognize that the strength of journalism depends not only on skill and dedication but also on the health and resilience of the journalists themselves. This initiative reflects our commitment to supporting female Journalists holistically, ensuring they thrive both professionally and personally.
By prioritizing mental health, we affirm our belief that when women journalists are cared for, their voices become even more powerful in shaping narratives that matter.
